H2O Go!

H2O are celebrating 15 years of posi-, drug free hardcore with a throwdown at the Troc, Friday February 19th. In 2008, H2O returned after several quiet years with an album they could have put out ten years earlier. These guys have pretty much never changed their sound, but they continue to put out consistent records and an energetic live show. Openers Trapped Under Ice and Maximum Penalty are really only going to appeal to 15 year olds, not punkers who have been following H2O for 15 years; they both remind me of shitty Biohazard and Downset. Don't go out of your way to show up early. Get your tickets on the cheap at the box office, 10th and Arch in Chinatown. This is part of a series of shows that the Troc is presenting for $14 in honor of the economy, so don't let that bargain price be jacked up by unnecessary fees. People change, but songs remain!
